We decode your VIN to pull the factory gear ratio from the RPO / build sheet, then match it against the axle tag on the donor unit before pulling it from stock. If you’ve swapped ratios aftermarket, tell us — we’ll match to your actual ratio, not the factory one.
What about the ABS tone ring — will my truck's ABS light come on?
Rear-axle ABS tone rings vary by tooth count (2WD vs 4WD, 5-lug vs 6-lug, and year ranges within a platform). We match the tone ring count against your VIN’s ABS configuration before shipping. If we can’t verify, we’ll tell you up front.
What if the axle arrives damaged in freight?
Every rear axle ships palletized, strapped, and fully freight-insured. Photograph the pallet before the driver leaves. If you see damage, note it on the BOL and call us the same day — we’ll dispatch a replacement immediately and file the freight claim on our side.
Does the warranty cover installation labor?
If the fitment issue is ours (wrong ratio, wrong ABS config, wrong housing), we credit up to $100 toward your installer’s re-work. This is in addition to replacing the part. Keep your shop invoice — that’s the only documentation we need.
